EASY ~$150/day method. Good for safe/alternative revenue stream.

This thread is about making money off people looking for place to live.

1) Create website with properties listing, feeding off some major property listing sites from area you picked (build a bot or do it manually).

2) Website is focused on people LOOKING for flats. So make it good looking.

3) When user clicks on "Sign Up" button on your listing page (dont put any contact details there - hide them under "Sign Up to see more" button), show him splash message showing this message "This property owner may require Credit Report". On Splash Screen put 3 links:

-(Large Bright Green button 70% of field) Get Free Credit Report
-(Small Very Light, ugly Green with white letters on it button 25% of field - upload my own Credit Report)
-(text link below 5% of field barely visible - "No Thanks")

(You put 3 options so people wont flag you as scam and this increases referral rate and decreases people leaving on signup page. Under "Upload" option you put simple upload script that stores associated data account to uploaded file - you can sell it later to property agencies)

Now - your site will make money in 4 ways:

1) Getting people to fill Credit Reports to get deal.
2) Selling access to your database of users to property management sites.
3) After a while - making money from property agencies renting "Featured" spots

Getting people on your site:

Since you are not agency and not directly marketer - you can post to some classifieds no problem.
There are 2 ways of doing this:
1) Pretend you are agency doing apartment research 100% free as it is government funded. People like this, so they go with your credit checks easily. Post on CL or any local classified saying you are trying to match property owners with people looking for property for free.
2) Contact folks that post "Looking for" ads. Say you are government agency that is paid per rented property.

I am getting around 7% conversion rate through this.
My semi-English VA is able to post around 5 ads a day, respond to around 40 "looking for" classified a day and scrape around 15 offers from local classified sites to post to our site. I pay her $450 a month (she asked originally for $300 but she is solid - thus raises), and I make around $4,000 revenue just from one city. Easy profit.
Getting around 100-200 visitors a day through messages posted on classified.

I was doing this before a lot as an experiment, but since a year I focused on different things - so here you go, use this method while it last.

I would say this method is Grey Hat - once you get top agencies to pay you for your database - people searching for houses etc. get real offers actually so they wont complaint.

All this will cost you around $20-30 to set up (domain, hosting/CMS with hosting +manual work).

Make An Easy $10 to $100 Per Day Without Selling Anything

This a great way to make up to $100 per day online using a very simple method using eBay without selling anything yourself.

People seem to forget that eBay has an affiliate program and they give you some great opportunities to make some extra income.

EBay's affiliate program is great because they pay you per lead and per sale.

1. Go to ebaypartnernetwork.com and sign up for eBay's affiliate program.

2. Do an online search for the top classified ads sites and put together a short list of the best to get started. Craigslist is an obvious one to use but remember that there are others that can bring in some revenue.

3. Pick a very high demand item and list it for sale on all the classified sites. Now when people message you asking for the item you can either say that you sold it already and then just redirect them to an ebay auction of the item using your affiliate link or you can just tell them that you decided to list the item on ebay instead of selling it on the classified site. The 2nd option is better in my opinion. Be creative and come up with your techniques if you can.

4. Now you will not only get paid for the people that buy something on eBay but also for all the people that just sign up for eBay and are active. *Everyone you send to eBay will also have a 30day tracking cookie attached.

You should very, very easily be able to make at minimum $10 per day with a little bit of work or if you really put some work in and get creative you can reach that $100 per day mark that everyone is after.

*******NOTE******* Don't limit yourselves to just high demand gadgets, remember there are plenty of HIGH DEMAND items that are also HIGH TICKET. *cars, *atv's.... just to give some of you a few ideas on how this can make you some real income.

Realistic Expectations - Your Guide to Understanding How We Make Money and Where to Begin

New threads that promise easy money in short time frames appear daily. Consequently, new threads with fresh users asking how they can achieve similar results appear daily as well.

"I really need $10 today, how can I get there?"
"Losing my home if I can't make rent this week, where do I begin?"
"Plz help me"

It's painfully obvious that the majority of new users simply don't understand what it is that we do, or how it really works. So, let's jump right into the meat and bones of this post with:

Part 1: Realistic Expectations
If you're just starting out, there's a 99.99% chance that you will not receive any money for at least a few weeks. Seriously, you aren't going to find a magical payday that results in money deposited into your Paypal account tomorrow.
Anyone that tries to sell you something with that promise is ripping you off.

The only legitimate way to earn money in such a short period of time is to sell your own product or service. If you're new, you probably don't have one and that's OK! There are lots of great ways to get started and I'll cover those in part 4 below.

This may sound harsh, because most people enjoy the idea of easy money, but having realistic expectations is the only way you're going to protect yourself from a whole lot of unnecessary purchases and headaches.

Part 2: Why Can't I Earn Money Today?
The vast majority of users on this forum that earn money are promoting products and services that don't belong to them. This is the very nature of internet marketing and it's undoubtedly the most common way to earn money online.

Carepolice, if I promote offers and get sales won't I get paid?

Yes, you will, but almost certainly not anytime soon.

This is because the networks responsible for paying you need to protect themselves from poor quality/fraudulent traffic.

It's the #1 reason you'll find that almost any network makes you wait at least a few weeks before receiving payment for sales that you've earned.

Even if you implement some awesome strategy to earn commissions today, you will not get paid tomorrow.
If you think you're clever with your purchase and refund scheme, or fake clicks, or [insert other stupid idea here] scheme then you're only setting yourself up for failure.

Part 3: What Are These Networks and Offers You Speak Of?
Affiliate networks are programs that you may join to find offers for you to promote. These will either be networks with a very large range of offers from many different advertisers, or networks owned by a business with their own product or service.

Some networks require lots of experience for you to gain acceptance, others require none at all.

Be very careful which network you choose because there are predatory networks that will allow you to promote products and then refuse to pay you at a later date for bogus reasons. Perform a quick search on this website for networks that you're considering to find out whether or not there are posts complaining about this.

These are the most common offer/network types:

CPA - Cost Per Action:
These offers pay when you successfully drive traffic to their websites that perform their desired action. This can be anything form joining a mailing list to purchasing a product. Pay attention to the conversion requirements before you begin promoting an offer because often times that "join a mailing list" actually requires a few additional steps that aren't likely to occur, such as completing a survey.

PPC/CPC - Pay Per Click/Cost Per Click:
This is exactly what it sounds like. These offers pay you when a visitor clicks your link that directs to their website. Don't both even think about clicking your own ads to generate revenue, it won't work out well for you.

PPD: Pay Per Download: Another fairly self-explanatory title, this pays when your clicks successfully download an item and may require additional steps, such as installation.

Part 4: Ok, Where Should I Start?
This will depend entirely on what you're comfortable with doing.

The basic strategy is to find an offer that you're interested in promoting, and to promote it via methods that the advertiser deems acceptable. You'll find those details on just about any offer details page.

Now that you understand
what's actually happening, the "method" threads will start to make a lot more sense to you.

BE VERY CAREFUL when choosing a method to execute!
Remember how networks force you to wait before receiving payment to protect themselves? Yeah, if you're following Johnny Idiot's guide to overnight riches by spamming [Social Network] then there's a good chance of your "earned" commissions evaporating before payday.

The truth is that executing black hat methods of promoting products for major advertisers can often blow up in your face if you don't tread very carefully. This isn't something you want to start out with because it typically leads to frustration and cries for help.

If you want to offer your own service for faster payment:
A common service offered by new members is article writing. If you enjoy writing and you're able to write SEO tailored articles then there's work for you, but the market is competitive. Whatever your idea or service is, offer free samples to members in exchange for reviews so that you may build credibility and enjoy more sales later.

DO NOT TRY TO SELL WITHOUT AN APPROVED SALES THREAD
Seriously, there's a Marketplace on this website for a reason. Moderators need to review your product/service before you're allowed to charge money for it here. Read the rules before you end up in trouble.

The absolute best way to start is to...
Part 5: Be Creative!
Take the time to read method and journey threads so that you can understand what others are doing to successfully promote offers, but don't copy them verbatim.

"Twist"
"Scale up"

You'll often find these inside replies to popular method threads. To twist a method is to change it in a way that makes it unique enough to work without becoming saturated as a result of the sheep that follow the original plan verbatim.

"Saturated"
This is another term that you'll come across frequently. When popular methods are posted, copycats get to work. The end result is a massive army of desperate users who try to replicate the success outlined in that original post.

How do you think that works out for most of them?
If you answered "not good" or similar, then you're learning. Congratulations.

Absorb as much knowledge as you can from this website so that you may be creative and succeed.
But beware...
Part 6: Learn To Spot The Bullshit!
You know that saying "if it sounds too good to be true, it is"? Keep that in mind when you're reading through threads on this website.

Before diving into anything you should ask yourself: "What does this poster have to gain from sharing this information with us?"
Some users genuinely want to help, and so they share valuable information. This earns respect and builds trust with that poster which can be a motivator as well.

In some cases the poster will want you to try their product or service because it's relevant to the method shared. That's great, as long as you have the option of performing work manually or using other products/services as a substitute for their own. Sharing valuable information in the hopes that you'll find their products attractive is OK and it's quite common.

If their product or service is a requirement for the method then you should stay away!
If the method sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. Don't fall for any of the traps that promise grand earnings with little to no effort beyond the purchase of their wares.
Look for affiliate links.
If the method includes affiliate links to products or services that are required to execute the method, it's probably a waste of your time. The original poster will receive credit for your signup and you'll likely end up with nothing, or less than nothing.

Closing:
I sincerely hope that you've found this resource helpful. If you've been linked to this post because you submitted a thread similar to those outlined in the beginning, that's alright. You started off on the wrong foot but if you're willing to learn then you can recover and move on to become a valuable member of this awesome community.

Most of us work very hard, this isn't an easy gig by any means. Even when I've achieved my income goals tenfold, I'll still probably work 12+ hour days including weekends because I'm passionate about what I do. Early retirement is a fantastic goal, but don't expect to "work" one hour per day and rake in the big bucks.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Work smart, apply yourself, and have a good time. This forum is a goldmine when you enter with realistic expectations.

XX $ to X,XXX $ per month [Amazon + Pinterest]

The Amazon+Pinterest method has been known for quite a while.
However in this thread we are going to look into some interesting spins & tricks to increase traffic & earnings.
If you aren't making any money online or are trying to bank on Pinterest: take your time to read this thread OVER and OVER. Also read all the replies in this thread before posting.

Requirements
Domain + hosting ( max 10$/ mo) [optional]
Pinterest accounts (free)
Amazon affiliates account (free)

The Website
(Having a website from the very start is optional, it would be wiser to first build your Pinterest)
Invest your time (1-2 days) to make a nice looking e-commerce Wordpress platform.
You can quickly photoshop a "BUY" button and link that to Amazon products.

The Setup

- Pinterest allows 2-3 active accounts per IP address. Which is enough for a starter.
- Make 3 Gmail accounts and create a new Pinterest account (make one account per day, have a delay). Don't forget to email verify them.
- RESPECT your Pinterest accounts. Don't go fake and spam-looking. Use some legit pictures and descriptions, don't go for cheap & low quality - setups.
-Make 5 - 15 boards (use unique & creative names for each). Look what other people use for their boardnames and just copy-edit-paste it.
- (optional) Use my personal Pinterest Bot: PinBot to speed-up your process and save a lot of time! ( PinBot BHW thread )

Before continueing to the method, you should have ONE account ready to Rock'n'Roll.
Follow THE EXACT steps as I explain in this thread and I guarantee you traffic your very first days!

The 5-Step-Method

  1. Daily: Pin 20-30 unique images (25% will include website URL ; another 25% will be watermarked with website URL)
  2. Daily: Re-pin 20-30 images. (edit the description: if it promotes another website delete the url, keep this one clean)
  3. Daily: Comment on 20-30 pins
  4. Daily: Like 20-30 pins
  5. Daily: Follow 30-100 users

If you're thinking. "I already know these steps" and then you start saying "BUT... I'm still not earning, HELP ME".
Look, you have to do these steps with RESPECT and FOCUS. If you're not gaining popularity then you are simply doing something wrong: maybe your niche isn't hot&tasty.

Twists

Focus on a Niche
:don't mix women's clothing, motorcycles and woodcrafting, seriously. If you are more comfortable in the women's niche then do nails, hair, jewelry, etc.

Focus on female niches: Pinterest is a women's site after all.

When commenting on pins: "kiss their butts"; if you give respect then you get it back tenfold, but, if you try to take respect you'll only lose more.

Pinterest is a semi-algorithm: you can get flagged by Pinterest for obvious botting-behavior or flagged by users for spam/trash behavior. If you are going to use software or scripts then KEEP IT REAL.

The desire to click: to get visitors to your site you need to have a niche on which people are looking to BUY something. No one is going to buy cars on Pinterest, don't bother pinning cars or travel pictures. These can be good to gain followers but conversion not so.

Authority: Have a "Pin" button on your website and pin Images directly from your blogs for cooler pins.

No website? No worries!: Amazon affiliates allows you to create "aStores" where you can list certain categories and let Amazon host it. I do STRONGLY recommend to use your own domain and just inserting an iframe to the aStore or doing a 301 to the aStore. That way you can use a clean & beautiful domain on Pinterest.

Are you not from USA? Make sure to be active when US-people are active most (between 6 and 10 PM). If this isn't possible for you then get a VPS or let your laptop run on scheduled mode.

Create your own Group Boards: start inviting regular pinners into your own boards.

Don't join spammy Group Boards: we often get invited to join group boards, most are spammed and not moderated, STAY AWAY FROM THESE!

Design your own algorithms:
Starting out? -> search for boards and follow niche related BOARDS (not users !!!) -> repin good pins + comment on these + like some of them.
Follow all your followers back.
Follow the followers of your followers.
Repin pins from boards who your followers are following and repinning from. (They will repin what they like, and they like what they follow, duh!)
